Mark Hagedorn

Mark Hagedorn grew up in Washington, where he developed a lifelong passion for fishing and the outdoors while chasing trout in Eastern Washington, salmon in Puget Sound, and spending time hunting and exploring throughout the Pacific Northwest. His love for the water eventually brought him to Portland, where he became deeply involved in the fisheries of the Columbia River, Willamette River, and the Oregon coast.

Over the last 16 years, Mark has built his reputation around offshore and coastal fishing. Mark is the owner and operator of Hillbilly Deluxe Sportfishing. From spring salmon, halibut, bottom fish, and crab trips out of Garibaldi and Astoria to running offshore in search of albacore tuna each summer, fishing has become a year-round pursuit.

When he’s not on the water chasing tuna, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Tuna Classic and remains actively involved in supporting the Pacific Northwest fishing community through industry events and conservation-focused organizations.
