Ed mainly navigates the Columbia which offers many fishing opportunities for salmon, sturgeon, and walleye but maybe his favorite is smallmouth bass on the Columbia. The Columbia is one of the top smallmouth bass fisheries in the country and Ed knows how to put you on them!

Ed played a key role in helping design and refine this lineup, bringing real-world experience and a deep understanding of performance-driven rod design to the table. In addition to the XMW Carbon Series, Ed has spent extensive time testing our bass rods on the water, pushing them in real fishing conditions to ensure they meet the standards serious anglers demand. His feedback has helped us fine-tune sensitivity, strength, and action—resulting in rods built to perform when it matters most.
