For some it's the start of the most magical time of the year, but were not talking about Christmas and the Holidays. We're talking about Steelhead Season! With the season fastly approaching in the Northwest we have a lot of different rod options to help fit your arsenal for Float Fishing. And maybe a few pointers for first time Talon Rod buyers as well. Lets dive in to some of the rods we suggest for Steelhead Float fishing.
1st Option - Osprey Carbon 96-4S
This is probably our most popular and vestal rod we offer for float fishing for steelhead. Its long enough to mend the line as your float is running down a lane but also short enough to use in some of the tight spots on your favorite river. The action on the rod is also perfect as well for tossing floats.

This rod was designed to run floats its longer length is perfect for mending and keeping your high vis line off the water for that perfect drift.
